Lahore Vacancies WAPDA is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Consultant for the Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) under the Diamer Basha Dam Project (DBDP). The position is based in Chilas and requires a candidate with a Master’s or BS degree in Archaeology or Anthropology from an HEC-recognized university Lahore Vacancies. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of mandatory experience with a preference for those having 10 years of experience. The appointment will be on a contract basis for one year extendable based on performance and organizational requirements with a market-based pay package.
The Consultant will assist the Authority in implementing the cultural heritage management plan coordinating with contractors involved in dam activities within the impact area and liaising with the Land Acquisition and Resettlement (LA&R) Wing/DBDP Lahore Vacancies. Responsibilities also include monitoring and evaluating CHMP-related activities and performing any other tasks assigned by the Authority. Candidates must ensure their educational degrees are from HEC-recognized institutions or verified by HEC in the case of foreign degrees. Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview and applications with incomplete or incorrect information or those received after the deadline will be rejected.
